RSP 351 - Clinical Practice I

This course provides supervised entry-level clinical experience via assigned medical facilities. Emphasis is placed on assessment, therapeutic techniques, non-invasive procedures, diagnostics and communication strategies within the scope of practice for respiratory care. Upon completion students should be able to demonstrate, through required performance evaluations, clinical competence and novice proficiency of patient care in an inter-professional setting.

Credit Hours: 1

Corequisite Courses: RSP 300, RSP 330, RSP 301, RSP 302, RSP 303, and RSP 333.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to RSP majors only.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
