RSP 301 - Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology This course provides a concentrated study of cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology essential to the practice of respiratory care. Emphasis is placed on cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology, acid/base balance, regulation of breathing, oxygen & carbon dioxide transport and blood gas interpretation. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate competence in these concepts through written evaluation.
Credit Hours: 3
Corequisite Courses: RSP 300 , RSP 330 , RSP 302 , RSP 303 , RSP 333 , andRSP 351 . Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to RSP majors only. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
