STT 210 - Introduction to Statistics with Applications in the Health Sciences

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: MAT 111 . Collection, tabulation and graphical representation of data. Measures of location and variation, measures of association and chi-squared distribution, correlation and regression, binomial, Poisson and normal distributions, estimation and tests of hypotheses. Health care statistics, elementary computer skills in analysis of data and interpretation of computer printout.
