MAT 498 - Internship in Mathematics

Credits: 1- 3

Prerequisite: Overall GPA of at least 2.50, a GPA in MAT courses of at least 2.80, and at least 9 hours of MAT courses numbered 300 or higher. Academic training and practical experience through work in a private company or public agency. Supervision and evaluation of all study and on-site activity by a faculty member and an on-site mentor. Open to students of junior or senior standing who have been approved by the faculty supervisor, department chair, and dean.
