FST 440 - Film Theory

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: FST major or permission of instructor. A study of major schools of film theory, such as genre theory, historical criticism, reception theory, auteur theory, formalism, cognitivist film theory and structuralist and post-structuralist film theories.
