Restricted to CRW majors, PCRW majors, and CRW minors. Prerequisite: CRW 207 or CRW 209 or consent of instructor. Study of the aesthetics of dramatic writing, dramatic technique, and the history of dramatic forms such as tragedy, comedy, the screenplay, and the musical, as developed by classic and contemporary writers.
