BIOL 246 - Microbiology of Human Diseases LaboratoryCredits: 1 Prerequisite or corequisite: BIO 246 . Must be taken after or concurrent with BIO 246 lecture. An introduction to basic microbiological laboratory techniques necessary to isolate, identify, stain, culture, and control microorganisms of interest. Special emphasis is placed upon clinical applications through research and completion of historical and clinical case studies. Three laboratory hours each week. This course is the lab for BIO 246 .
