Dr. Stephanie Kamel, Coordinator.
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a minor in Marine Biology that provides students with a broad foundation for understanding the ecology and adaptations of organisms to life in the sea. The minor is targeted to students interested in courses that highlight environments and issues that are unique to a coastal university. Students complement core requirements with studies that focus on groups of organisms (e.g., marine mammals), ecosystems (e.g., coral reef environments), or relevant topics (e.g., climate change, ocean acidification). Students should contact the coordinator in the Department of Biology and Marine Biology for additional information.
