MAT 160 - Precalculus: Algebra & Trigonometry Study of fundamental concepts of algebra and trigonometry, functions using graphical and algebraic approaches, and applications that are essential to the study of calculus. Covers linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical, piecewise, composite, inverse, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Preparatory course for MAT 161 .

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: No credit granted for MAT 160 after the completion of a MAT course numbered 161 or higher, with a grade of “C-” or better. University Studies: Foundations/Mathematics and Statistics, Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning
