MAT 150 - Basic Precalculus Study of fundamental concepts of algebra, functions using graphical and algebraic approaches, and applications that are essential to the study of basic calculus. Covers linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, radical, piecewise, composite, inverse, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Preparatory course for basic calculus, MAT 151 .
Credit Hours: 3
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: No credit granted for MAT 150 after the completion of a MAT course numbered 151 or higher with a grade of C- or better. University Studies: Foundations/Mathematics and Statistics, Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning
