MUS 284 - Foundations of Music Education Study of the foundations of teaching music in grades K through 12. Topics include musical skill development, teaching techniques, methods, and materials. Exploration of the artistic processes: performing, creating, responding to, and connecting music with other curricula. Classroom observations and field experiences in K-12 school settings.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: EDN 200 and EDNL 200 , or permission of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
