EVS 489 - Wetlands Ecology and Management Introduction to principles of wetland science emphasizing identification and management. Examination of biological, physical, chemical, and ecological aspects of wetland ecosystems at local, landscape, and global scales, with a focus on classification and legal protection of wetlands in North Carolina. Experience in techniques for identification and delineation of wetland ecosystems.
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite Courses: EVS 195 and BIO 366 , or consent of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
