EVS 452 - Offshore Energy & Resource Management Introduction to the fundamental concepts behind offshore energy and resource management. A range of marine resources, including offshore oil and gas; wave, wind and tidal energy; and marine minerals are examined. The historical evolution, technological developments, challenges and potential impacts of each offshore resource is discussed.
Credit Hours: 3
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Junior or senior standing, or permission of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
