BIO 410  -  Biotechnology

A survey of techniques used in biotechnology and application of these techniques for practical biomedical and environmental use. Topics include cloning, genetic engineering, PCR, RNAi, antibody technologies, vaccines, microarrays, bioremediation, biofuels, drug discovery and synthesis, gene therapy, transgenics, cloning, stem cells, forensics, and biowarfare.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: BIO 335   or BIO 325 .
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
