EVS 474 - Wildland Fire Management Basic training in wildland fire management. Focuses on both the suppression of wild fires and the use of controlled burning as a natural resource management tool. Instruction is through both in-class lectures and practical field training. Students will participate in actual controlled burn experiences. Participants in the course must meet established physical fitness guidelines.
Credit Hours: 3
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Junior or senior standing or consent of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
