THR 112 - Dance Appreciation

Appreciation of dance as an art form. The study of dance as a reflection and expression of various cultures from pre-history to present. Includes exposure to contemporary concert dance through films and televised or live performance. Introductory experience in selected dance techniques.

Credit Hours: 3
