TFP 201 - Community-Based Understanding in Education The course is designed as an in-depth introduction to, and examination of, the problems facing students and the community as a whole. Students will participate in a service learning projects to better understand their students’ life experiences. Topics range from gangs and poverty to ESL and immigration.

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Formal enrollment in the Teaching Fellows Program or consent of director. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 1
