REC 303 - Inclusive Recreation Services

This course is designed to increase awareness and understanding of topics related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Content will focus on a myriad of social identities, bias, allyship, common vocabulary, power, privilege, oppression, discrimination, and other related topics. The course will help students connect important social justice topics to the management and operation of recreation, sport, and tourism organizations, while increasing their understanding of self and others.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: REC 265 and REC 270.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: REC majors and minors only or permission of instructor.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
