GGY 360 - Tourism and the Environment


Introduction to the geography of tourism, including the cultural, economic, environmental, planning, and political dimensions of the industry, from the perspective of sustainability. The second half of the course is devoted to tourism and the environment, including forms of ‘green’ tourism.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: GGY 101  or EVS 195  
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite course or consent of instructor.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
