FST 430 - Digital Visual Effects Exploration of digital image and video representation and manipulation for motion-picture visual effects. Includes image storage and compression, film and video formats, compositing, filtering, scripting for graphics and visual effects, photorealistic lighting and rendering, virtual cinematography, camera tracking, and particle effects.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: (CSC 220 or ART 220 or FST 220 ) and CSC 331 with a minimum grade of “C”. Crosslisting: CSC 430 , FST 522 . Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
