ENG 351  -  American Realism

Studies of major writers in the period of emerging industrialism and urbanization after the Civil War. May include such writers as Howells, Twain, James, Wharton, Crane, Cather, and Dreiser.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 103  or ENG 201 , or consent of instructor. ENG 205  is strongly recommended.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
