EDN 450 - Infant and Toddler Program Models Designed to inform students of the goals, philosophies and program characteristics of exemplary programs in very early childhood education (birth to age three). Developmentally appropriate settings and activities for infants and toddlers will be studied, and ways of working with parents will be explored. Optimal caregiving strategies and skills needed for providing a quality program for infants and toddlers will be emphasized. Field experiences required.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: EDN 204 or EDN 203 . Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite courses and admission to Watson College of Education. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
