EDN 384 - Creating Preschool Environments


Prepares individuals who do not currently hold a clear Birth-Kindergarten license, and are currently teaching at the preschool level, to create developmentally appropriate preschool environments and adapt their skills for the preschool classroom. Emphasis is placed on creating or adapting interpersonal and physical environments to facilitate development in all domains and meet individual needs. Strategies for developing collaborative relationships with families will also be explored. Activities include lectures, discussion, demonstrations, individual and group presentations, and laboratory assignments completed in the teacher’s own classroom.

Credit Hours: 3

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Consent of instructor.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
