Admission Requirements


Requirements for a B.A. in Spanish with Teacher Licensure


  • Students seeking an Spanish, B.A. with Teacher Licensure must complete the major requirements found in Spanish, B.A.  and Teacher Licensure Requirements (see Watson College of Education  section of this catalogue).
  • 36 credit hours (12 must be SPN 303 , SPN 305 , SPN 306 , and SPN 307 ; 6 must be at the 400 level, and up to 6 may be at the 200 level)
  • Only 3 hours at the 400-level may be obtained by means of SPN 491  or SPN 498 .

Additional Information


  • A grade of “C-” or better is required in each course counted toward the major and a “C” (2.00) average or better for all courses counted toward the major.
