The original publication of this catalogue and the University Regulations page did not reflect the revised university policy on Credit for Prior Learning, which was approved by Faculty Senate Motion No. 2025-05-01 during the 2024–25 academic year and is set to take effect in Fall 2025.

Following the approval of Faculty Senate Motion No. 2025-05-02 and subsequent endorsement by the chancellor, a Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List have been established to recognize outstanding academic achievement. This update was added to the Student Awards and Honor Societies section of the catalogue after its original publication.

Catalogue Change: 9/3/2025
At the time of publication, the Special Education, B.A. was presented as a single degree with two distinct “tracts.” However, these are technically separate degree programs. To provide more accurate information for both prospective and current students, the programs have now been formally divided into two separate degrees within the Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, Literacy, and Special Education, under the Watson College of Education.
