Study of the maintenance, expression, and evolution of genetic information in prokaryotes, eukaryotes, and viruses. Structure and function of various nucleic acids. Biochemical mechanisms of nucleic acids in prokaryotes, eukaryotes, and viruses. Evolution of prokaryotic, eukaryotic, and viral genomes. CHML 468 is the laboratory course for CHM 468.
