WPAL 101 - Wellness and Physical Activity Lab Participation in physical activity, increased awareness and development of using physical activity to enhance all aspects of well-being, increased awareness and development of a well-rounded lifestyle. Physical Activity and Wellness LAB is a 1-credit course. The purpose of this course is threefold: 1) to provide you with instruction and guidance during participation in lifetime physical activities (i.e., cardiovascular, resistance and flexibility) to improve your fitness, health and wellness, 2) to recognize the multidimensional nature of wellness and its reciprocal relationship with physical activity, and 3) to enhance self-awareness and self-management skills associated with lifelong physical activity. Course activities and assignments are specifically designed to improve your knowledge, beliefs, motivations, skills, and behaviors to aid in your lifetime journey of being active.

Prerequisite or Corequisite Courses: WPA 101 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite for online lecture/lab sections: Extension student status. Prerequisite for online lab sections: Permission of instructor. University Studies: Lifetime Wellness Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
