MIT 470 - Introduction to Gaming and Esports Introduces learners to gaming and esports, the history, current state, and future. Students will identify how these industries are set up and managed. Students will learn about current leagues and games in both collegiate and professional esports, qualities of a game that makes it successful, describe how esports and games generate revenue, the relationship of gaming and esports and video games to education, and introduce them to the technology used in competition. Learners will also be introduced to the principles of leading, planning, and budgeting.
