CSC 457 - Compiler Construction

Study of programming language translation. Organization of a compiler including symbol tables, lexical scan, syntax scan, object code generation, error diagnostics, object code optimization, and overall design; compilation of simple expressions and statements; use of compiler writing tools. Substantial software project required.
