Esports Performance and Management Certificate

This 15 credit hour certificate in Esports Performance and Management is designed to meet the needs of those who are interested in improving their knowledge and skills of leadership, coaching and mentorship, creating esports and gaming content and media, incorporating esports and gaming into education, and designing and managing esports programs and events. The certificate program serves undergraduate students who desire to expand their knowledge and skills to have a career in esports and related events.

Requirements for a Certificate in eSports Performance and Management:
There are two options to complete this certificate:
Option 1 - You can choose to take all 15 credits from MIT Esports Courses which includes MIT 470, 472, 473, 476, 498
Option 2 - MIT Esports Core of 9 credits: MIT 470, 472, 473 and then 6 credits outside esports in the courses approved below. Credits / Units: 9 - MIT 470 - Introduction to Gaming and Esports
- MIT 472 - Streaming audio and video for Esports and Gaming
- MIT 473 - Esports Media and Content
- MIT 498 - Esports Performance and Practice Internship
- MIT 476 - Esports and Gaming Capstone
