Studio Art Minor introduces students to Studio Art practice with a foundational understanding of art-making and an opportunity to further explore an area of interest.

Requirements for a Minor in Studio Art

Core Courses (9 Credit Hours)

Elective Courses (15 Credit Hours)

  • 15 hours chosen from 200-400 level ART courses.
  • At least 6 hours must be 300-400 level.

Total Credit Hours: 24

Additional Information

No more than 3 hours of ART 491  or 3 hours of ART 498  may be counted towards the minor. A grade of “C” (2.00) or better is required for each course counted toward the minor.
