The Department of Public and International Affairs offers a Public Administration Minor for students interested in pursuing careers in public service working in government or the nonprofit sector.  The minor requires 18 hours of course work, including 9 hours of core courses and 9 hours of electives.

Admission Requirements

Current UNCW Undergraduate Students

Requirements for a Minor in Public Administration

Core Courses (9 Credit Hours)

Take three of the following four courses:

Elective Courses (9 Credit Hours)

Choose three of the following courses:

Total Credit Hours: 18

Additional Information:

A grade of “C” (2.00) or better is required for each course counted toward the minor.
