Admission Requirements

Current UNCW Undergraduate Students

Requirements for a Minor in History

Core Courses (9 Credit Hours)

Nine hours from HST 101-199, including at least 3 hours treating the period before 1500 (HST 101 , HST 111  and HST 113 ). 

Elective Courses (9 Credit Hours)

Nine hours from HST 200-498, with at least 6 hours at the 300-400 level.

Total Credit Hours: 18

Additional Information

An overall “C” (2.00) average in courses taken in the department is required for the minor, and a grade of “C-” or better is required in each course applied toward the minor.
