The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts offers a minor in German. Students minoring in German acquire advanced-level language proficiency, become knowledgeable about the cultures of the German-speaking areas, their history and literature, and acquire a range of analytic and interpretive skills. The combination of language proficiency, cross-cultural aptitude, and the ability to think critically ensures that our graduates can navigate the world and are well-prepared for a variety of professions, including business, government, engineering, law, education, and academia. Students should contact the German Studies coordinator in the Department of World Languages and Literatures for additional information.
