European Studies Minor

The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts offers an interdisciplinary minor in European studies which focuses on Europe since 1650. The minor provides students with a broad foundation for understanding modern Europe through the study of geography, history, language, and literature. Students complement core requirements with studies in the fine arts, literature, history and civilization, and political science. Students should contact the program coordinator, Dr. Mark Spaulding, for additional information.

Additional Information


A “C” (2.00) or better average is required for all courses counted toward the minor in European studies. Courses being counted toward a major cannot be counted toward completion of minor requirements.
