Chemistry, B.A. with Teacher Licensure

Admission Requirements

• Students planning to pursue licensure should apply to the Watson College of Education  as soon as admissions requirements are met (typically in the sophomore year) and plan their programs in regular consultation with their advisors. 

Requirements for B.A. in Chemistry with Teacher Licensure

Students seeking a Chemistry, B.A. with Teacher Licensure must complete the major requirements found in Chemistry, B.A.  and the following: 

• Teacher Education Requirements (See Watson College of Education  section of this catalogue)
• For Secondary Teacher Licensure in general science as well as chemistry an additional BIO course, PHY 260 , and one course from GLY 101 , GLY 120 , are required
