Linguistics Minor

The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (CHSSA) offers a minor in linguistics to provide students with a variety of courses related to the scientific study of human languages. Students acquire a basic knowledge of linguistics, sociolinguistics, and applied language studies in courses offered by several departments. Additional Information
Students must earn at least a “C” (2.00) average in courses counted for a linguistics minor.
