Requirements for a Minor in International Studies:
21-24 hours. Courses to be distributed as follows: Geographic/Environmental Awareness. One of:
Political/Economic Awareness. One of:
Social/Cultural Awareness. One of:
Additional Requirements:
International Experience Requirements: 3 hours of international experience, as approved by Director (credit may count toward other requirements in the minor), including: - INT 294 - International Student Exchange Credit Hours: 12
- INT 394 - International Student Exchange Credit Hours: 1 To 12
- INT 494 - International Student Exchange Credit Hours: 12
At least three additional courses from one of the International Studies concentrations - Arts & Literature, Environment, Globalization, Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, or Middle East. Two of the courses must be selected from the 300-level or above and must included at least one INT course.
A grade of ‘C’ (2.0) or better is required in all courses counted toward the minor.
