Physics Minor

The minor in Physics is a program designed to give students a background in advanced physics courses. 

Requirements for a Minor in Physics:

 

9 Additional Hours in Physics

Not to include PHY 101 , PHY 102 , or PHY 105 ; at least 3 of these additional hours must be at the 300-400 level.  At least 4 of these additional hours must be from one of the following Options:

Option 1: (General Physics)

Option 2: (Physical Oceanography)

Option 3: (Engineering Physics)

Option 4: (Computational Physics)

Total: 20 hours

 

Additional Information:

A grade of “C” or better is required in each physics course counted toward the minor.
