Climate Change Sciences Minor

The Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences offers a minor in Climate Change Sciences. Because climate change science is a truly integrative and dynamic field which continues to become more technological and global in its approach, the climate change science minor requires students to develop basic proficiencies in a variety of fields, while allowing students to focus on their specific interests through selection of appropriate elective course work.

Core:
Choose two of the following courses (only one of the Global Climate Change courses will count). The remaining courses can be used as an elective.
Electives:
Choose 12 credit hours from the classes listed below with at least one course from each of the two categories. At least nine credit hours must be at the 300 level or above.
