EDN 434 - Students Exposed to Trauma and Adversity This course examines the effects childhood trauma and adversity have on cognitive and social development and provides strategies and best practices to promote academic achievement. It explores a variety of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and promotes resilience-building techniques to minimize the effects of trauma. Trauma-informed approaches and self-care are essential components of the course.
