MGT 453  -  Leading Virtual Teams

Modern organizational structures require leaders to be able to design and cultivate effective and efficient collaboration in teams – whether co-located, distributed, virtual, or any combination thereof. This course presents the state-of-the-science of leading collaboration in today’s digital workforce. The goal of this course is to develop the capacity to lead collaboratively, regardless of the context in which your team works. Understanding the core actions of leaders and how they shape needed team properties is crucial to success. The course will leverage a variety of tools to promote both skill and knowledge building: exercises, cases, readings, videos, discussions, a self-assessment, and guided self-reflection.
