SOC 377  -  Restorative Justice


Study of restorative justice as a global and local reform strategy to provide meaningful justice options to people whose lives have been impacted by crime. Explores the theory, practice, and empirical findings associated with restorative justice. Applied learning is central to this class in that circle process is used throughout the semester as a platform for instruction.

Prerequisite or Corequisite Courses: CRM 105 / SOC 105 and CRM 255 / SOC 255 or CRM 256 / SOC 256
