JPN 301 - Japanese Grammar and Composition I

Study of Japanese to include grammatically complex sentences, basic honorific and humble forms to respond to requests, to convey and understand emotion and impact, and to narrate hypothetical situations in speech and writing with approximately 300 kanji. Oral and written projects focus on intercultural exchange and Japanese material and non-material culture.

Prerequisite Courses: JPN 202 with a C or better or sufficient score on placement exam or approved credit hour equivalents.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
