MUS 307 - Songwriting

Study of basic songwriting styles and techniques, including methods for developing the skills and knowledge to construct well-crafted lyrics, melodies, and chords. Students develop their musical identity and critical listening skills through analysis, discussion, synthesis, and songwriting activities.
