MUS 401  -  Introduction to Orff-Schulwerk


Two-week, interactive course provides an introductory study of the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music and movement education. Intended for pre-service music educators, emphasizes the Orff process as demonstrated and experienced through a range of creative activities and assignments during 60 contact hours. Specific applications for general music in grades K-8, topics include movement and musical skill development.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: MUS 326 with a “B” or better and MUSL 326 with a “B” or better
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
