PSY 365  -  Psychology of Race and Racism


Examination of the construction and development of race and racial bias in the United States from a psychological lens. Topics include the processes that underlie and motivate racial bias and how race and racism are maintained through social institutions and cultural ideologies. Scientifically-based means of addressing and reducing racism are considered.
