NSG 452 - Mental Health Care: Beyond the Basics

Appraise the impact of bias and stigma in the care of mental health disorder/s by examining the perspectives of mental illness from popular culture, healthcare providers, and patients. Students will focus on mitigating this bias and improving treatment from both an individual and population health focus.

Prerequisite Courses: NSG 422 (C or better).
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Minimum grade of C or better. May only be taken in final semester of nursing school.
