NSG 306  -  Pathopharmacology I


Introduces basic concepts of pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics, building on basic anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and chemistry content obtained from earlier courses. The pathophysiology of common disease conditions affecting human beings across the lifespan are explored. This course also examines basic drug classifications, concepts and principles of pharmacology with special consideration for the nursing role in developing a comprehensive approach to the clinical application of drug therapy.  

Credit Hours: 3

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Admission to the Undergraduate Nursing Program.
