NSG 300 - Health Assessment and Core Nursing Concepts This course introduces the student to the core concepts of nursing that are essential to the role of the professional nurse in caring for individuals, families, and communities. The course will focus on normal assessment skills across the lifespan as a component of core nursing care. Didactic concepts will be applied in the laboratory setting for demonstration of assessment skills using varying degrees of technology.
Credit Hours: 4 (3 lecture/1 lab)
